Planning a 36-inch sink base
A 36-inch sink base is commonly used where the kitchen layout calls for a wider sink cabinet. Cabinet width alone does not confirm that a particular sink, plumbing layout or countertop cutout will fit. Confirm the sink manufacturer’s required cabinet size, sink dimensions, plumbing position and countertop fabrication requirements before ordering.
When placing SB36 beside a dishwasher, corner cabinet or wall, check the complete cabinet run rather than treating the 36-inch width in isolation. Door and appliance clearances, fillers and finished panels can affect the final layout.
Particle board vs. plywood
SB36 is available with particle-board and plywood cabinet-box options. The box construction and visible door/finish are separate product choices. Select the construction and finish required for the project and keep the same cabinet program across compatible components where appropriate.
